Interesting, thank you! The first time I visited the area was in 1998, and the feelings were pretty strong then. Given how the people of this region talked and spoke, I’m guessing that, while the political movement may be quiet, their feelings that they are Catalonian, not Spanish, are probably still prevalent. Would you agree?
Feelings are difficukt to change but Catalonia is not only Besalú. In Barcelona and Tarragona demarcaciones is just the opposite and they are much more populares.

Probably because Catalunya is doing well economically and the current government in Madrid recently granted amnesty to the separatists who led the unconstitutional independence referendum a few years ago.
My first visit to this area was back in 1998, and it was full of separatist energy even back then. Not sure it will ever change completely.

I did. Both. Grouper are out by the rocks, up to the right in about 15’ of water when I was there.

Really nice video. Also that stop you love is not in Ice Box Canyon. It's the Soda Butte Picnic area, which unfortunately was all but destroyed in the floods 2 years ago. Ice Box Canon is about a half mile west. There are no prairie dogs in Yellowstone. What you are seeing are Uinta Ground Squirrels. Pronghorn are not, nor related to sheep. Lamar Valley is my favorite place in the park. I've been here for 20 years and it always amazes me. Finally, you should always try to herd the bison along when they are on the road. Don't just sit there. If you want to enjoy the bison, use one of the many pullouts. And yes, shouting obscenities is always very rude! Enjoy!
